At the dramatic conclusion to the season premiere of Third Season of The Walking Dead, Hershel is bit by a walker, Rick hacks off his leg below the knee, and the few non-zombie inhabitants of the prison make themselves known to the group.
Judging by this weeks look ahead, the next episode, “Sick”, picks up right where “Seed” left off, with the group rushing Hershel back to the secure cell block on a gurney. Beth and Maggie are both overwhelmed by the imminent death of their father, and Carol takes over as the EMT in veterinarian Hershel’s stead.
How did the expedition group make it back to the cell block? How did they get the body armor they’re wearing? And what went down between them and the prisoners in the cafeteria? For the answers to all these compelling questions and more, tune into AMC’s little zombie drama on Sunday night.
